**big grin**

When you title a thread Big Grin, you've either hit the lottery or had the SC installed. Ummm, I haven't played the lotto in a few months so...

A few years of saving and a neighbor wanting to buy my 4-wheeler means enough money to purchase the SC. Had it installed yesterday, picked it up last night.

07 RCSB, 4x4, 64K miles.

Truck ran really good before, now it's just a freaking beast!

Things I didn't know. If you've changed your CAI, take your factory one with you as they use the bottom portion. In the kit they provide a larger upper air box lid with a filter service gauge.

Things that are different other than the obvious seat of the pants difference.

My truck typically started and rev'd to 2K rpm's when cold. This morning, it rev'd to 1,500.

It typically took my truck a couple miles of driving for the temp hand to be half way, this morning it took twice as long so I'm not sure why it's taking the truck longer to heat now.

The kit also includes a LTR, low temp radiator which is almost as big as the engine radiator and blocks about 80-90% of it. I guess the engineers know what they are doing and the truck should still get sufficient airflow to the engine.

Other than that, all is good especially the distinct "whine".

BTW, still can't attach pictures here. :unsure3d:
